It's so hard to describe the feelings of being back here....I felt as though we were coming back home after a long time away. My heart feels like it is put back together again. The yearning for Colombia, for our family, friends here is gone, vanished. It is so amazing to be back in this very special country. The place where we became a family and now coming home again for Mateo.
Freddy picked us up from the airport! It was so good to see his face again and that smile.

We remember feeling the same way our second time back. Feels like home. That's an incredible way to start your journey again! Looking forward to hearing about your time with Mateo...and as a family of FOUR. Enjoy it!
I bet it is amazing to be back. I feel the same way about China (and glad to be headed back there in 2011).
So excited for you! Enjoy every minute - I know you will. Hard to believe is is almost two years since we went to the Como Zoo with our baby girls and as we walked through the tropics section, you were telling me how much you missed Colombia. :)
Oh how we can feel it, too! It's totally a part of our fabric, ain't it?! Anxiously circling the computer, awaiting photos and stories from the presentation. WOW!! That was quick!! Way to go Cecilia! Hope you're enjoying Hotel Paris. Make SURE you ask Juanita to make her guac! Mmmm ... can taste it already!! Jealous you're getting Mora juice on a daily basis!! Not envious of your next 30 days of potatoes and rice, however! :) haha!
I'm so glad you made it there safely! I know that 'homecoming' feeling well!

Glad to hear things are progressing (even if hectic and scary at times). Continued prayers for good health and a safe journey home. Looking forward to a grand introduction to Mateo when he arrives at House of Prayer. He's a lucky boy!
